India 1/3/2012.- An old man smokes a beedi, tobacco wrapped in an indigenously available leaf, after he awoke from sleep wrapped in a rented quilt on a cold morning in New Delhi. The minimum temperature Tuesday rose five degrees above normal to make it a warmer day in the capital even as foggy and overcast conditions prevailed in the city, according to news reports.
