Atlanta, 04/17/2007. Emory University associate professor of English Natasha Trethewey becomes emotional as she tells her father she has been awarded the 2007 Pulitzer Prize for poetry Monday in Atlanta. «Native Guard» draws on her personal experience and Southern heritage.
