I raq 29/01/2007.- Iraqi soldiers arrest suspects during clashes with gunmen in a heavy sandstorm at Zarqa, 12 miles northeast of Najaf, Iraq, Monday. Iraqi officials claimed Monday that at least 200 militants were killed in a fierce battle between U.S.-backed Iraqi troops and a religious cult called the Jund al-Samaa, or Soldiers of Heaven, allegedly plotting to kill pilgrims at a major Shiite Muslim religious festival Muharram (AP).
