Nahr al-Bared camp 05/28/2007.- A Palestinian youth burns tires at the entrance of the Palestinian refugee camp of Bedawi adjacent to the besieged Nahr al-Bared camp in north Lebanon to protest against the continued attack by Lebanese army against the Islamic militants of Fatah al-Islam, Tuesday. «We will not let our Palestinian brothers be slaughtered!» shouted a protester at a squalid refugee camp near the scene of three days of deadly battles between Lebanese troops and Islamist militants amid warnings that the unrest could spread. Islamist militants declared a ceasefire later today, but two civilians were gunned down just hours later as UN workers delivered desperately needed aid. (AFP)
