Taipei, 08/27/2007.- Taiwanese people launch paper lanterns into to the sea during the Keelung Mid-Summer Ghost Festival, Monday, Aug. 27, 2007, in Keelung, Taipei County, north of Taiwan. Traditionally, activities to please the ghosts and spirits include preparing ritualistic offerings of food, burning ghost money, and releasing miniature paper boats and lanterns on water. Releasing the paper lanterns signifies 'giving directions to the lost ghosts and spirits'.(AP)
