Pisco 08/16/2007.- Local residents and rescuers search amid the rubble of a church destroyed by the earthquake that hit a large area of Peru on the eve August 16, 2007 in Pisco south of Lima. Peruvian officials struggled on Thursday to reach cut-off victims on the country's southern coast after the earthquake rocked the region leaving more than 500 dead and 1,050 injured. (AFP)
