Seattle 8/21/2009.- Landscape painter Michael Stasinos works on his 24 by 48-inch painting of Volunteer Park as he prepares for a spring show at Woodside/Braseth Gallery. «I've been doing the grass since Monday. It's kind of like running marathons», he said. He says he'll likely have 30 visits to the park for this work in oil and finish the people in the studio. This is on the lawn just to the north of SAAM which can be seen through the trees in the far right of the painting.
